“Prepare a path for God so that he can enter your heart.”
Let us remember…that we are in the holy presence of God.
Remembering that we are in the holy presence of God…at the beginning of every prayer, and at the beginning of every class, is key to our Lasallian Catholic spirituality. The spirituality of our Founder St. John Baptist de la Salle, provides us with an understanding that the classroom is the sacred space where we encounter the Lord, through the very act of education.
The Pastoral Office supports the spiritual life of our community—students and their families, Lasallian educators and our whole staff, and alumni. The “source and summit” of our lives together is our school liturgical celebrations, including Mass, prayer together, and celebration of the sacraments. Some of the ways we practice our faith are:
Monday-Friday Daily Mass at the beginning of lunch for students, Faculty/Staff, parents, and guests. (as scheduling allows)
Monthly all school Masses
Sacrament of Reconciliation is available Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours. (9:15-9:45)
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the 1st Tuesday of the month 7:30-9:45 am
Daily public prayer (start of school, after lunch, end of day)
Prayer services
Praise and Worship Nights
Opportunities to participate in district-wide activities such as vocation retreats.
